Palestinian Evening in Denver

Colorado Palestine Community Network presents a Palestinian Evening in Denver at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts with the:

- Internationally renowned Palestinian Hip-Hop group: Da Arabian MC's (DAM)

- Straight from Jenin, on their first North American tour, the Palestinian Folk group: Marj Ben Amer and Ibrahim Sbehat

- and the Palestinian American Film maker Jackie Reem Salloum, the director of the award winning film Slingshot Hip-Hop.

all for one night where we mix the past with the present, hip-hop with national folkloric songs like ya Thareef ittoul and ya halali ya mali. The evening will feature clips from Slingshot Hip-Hop presented by the film director, Jackie Salloum.
